Several student organizations that emphasize international business issues are active within the School of Business. In addition, there are many university-wide student organizations designed for students interested in international issues and for international students.
International Business Student Association (IBSA)
IBSA provides a venue for students interested in international business to share ideas, learn about employment opportunities, and increase their knowledge of and skills relating to international business. For more information, visit the IBSA web site.
AIESEC (French acronym for International Association of Students in Economics and Business Management) is an organization that provides students with the opportunity to receive real business experience in the real business world. We do this by marketing our international exchange program to corporations within the area. Opportunities include high level business contacts, an international internship, marketing and management skills, travel to regional, national, and international conferences, global outlook and a chance to get more than a classroom education. Membership is open to undergraduate students. For further information, visit AIESEC-Madison's homepage or call 263-5716.
Graduate International Business Association (GIBA)
The principal purpose of the association shall be to encourage and promote involvement in international business education and practice, as well as international understanding, cooperation, and goodwill among students in the Graduate School of Business of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, its graduates, and the communities they serve. Membership is open to graduate students.
